Eleftherios Goulas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Patras, specializing in macroeconomic analysis, economic growth, and defense economics. His research examines intersections between fiscal policy, labor markets, and social outcomes across European economies.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on military expenditure efficiency, labor market policies, and socioeconomic determinants of crime/suicide. Methodological approaches include spectral analysis for financial markets, panel data econometrics for policy evaluation, and investigations into nonlinear economic relationships.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Economics (2008) from the University of Patras and an M.Sc. in Business Economics & Finance from the University of Surrey. Office hours are held weekly for student consultation.
