معرفی
Gottfrid Sjödahl is an Associate Professor and Researcher at Lund University Cancer Centre (LUCC), where he leads the Urothelial Cancer Genomics research group. His work bridges clinical urology and molecular oncology, focusing on bladder cancer subtyping and therapeutic innovation.
Research interests include:
- Molecular taxonomy of urothelial cancers
- Genomic drivers of bladder cancer progression
- Tumor microenvironment dynamics
- Immunotherapy response biomarkers
- Cost-effectiveness of precision oncology approaches
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on molecular classification systems (LundTax algorithm), tumor plasticity studies across microenvironments, and immune profiling of bladder cancer subtypes. This work integrates computational biology, clinical oncology, and translational research.
Active research projects:
- Principal Investigator: Molecular subtype-dependent biomarkers for systemic treatment of advanced bladder cancer (Cancerfonden, 2023-2025)
- Co-supervisor: Cellular and molecular cartography of muscle-invasive bladder cancer (Doctoral project, 2019-2025)
He contributes to LUCC's urothelial cancer research initiatives and participates in academic events including cancer genomics seminars and research dissemination activities.
