Gordon Li

Gordon Li is a Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, with courtesy appointments in Neurology & Neurological Sciences and Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. His career spans clinical practice, laboratory research, and leadership roles such as Associate Dean, Academic Affairs (2022-present) and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs (2021-present).

• Education: MD from University of California Davis School of Medicine (2004), Residency at Stanford University (2011), Board Certification (2014), and Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University (1999).

His research focuses on brain tumor biology, novel therapeutics, and clinical translation. Key areas include immunotherapy for glioblastoma, stereotactic radiosurgery, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He leads studies on fluorescent probes for surgical resection and CAR T cell therapies for recurrent glioblastoma.
