Gordon Blair is a Professor of Distributed Systems at the Lancaster University School of Computing and Communications, with an Adjunct Professor role at the University of Tromsø, Norway. He co-founded the ACM/IFIP/USENIX Middleware Conference and serves on its steering committee, alongside roles as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Springer's Journal of Internet Services and Applications.
