Gordon Barnes is an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Brockport, specializing in the Department of Philosophy. His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Personal Identity and the Self, Political Philosophy, and Philosophy of Religion, reflecting his interdisciplinary expertise in core philosophical domains.
Research interests span epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and political philosophy. Currently, he explores applied epistemology, focusing on the epistemic status of expertise and conspiracy theories, extending his scholarly contributions into contemporary debates.
