Goran Ilic

Prof. Goran Ilic serves as Full Professor at the Faculty of Law, Kichevo, and Vice-Rector for Science at St. Clement of Ohrid University of Bitola. He was elected Dean of the Faculty of Law in 2017 and re-elected for the 2021-2024 term, following prior roles as Vice-Dean for Science and International Cooperation (2013-2017) and University Senator (2012-2016). He additionally teaches at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors "Pavel Shatev" in Skopje.

His research spans EU Politics and Law, Human Rights, European Federalism, International Relations, and Digital Constitutionalism. Key publications include the books "Europe at the Crossroads: The Lisbon Treaty as the Foundation of the EU's Foreign Policy Power", "EUtopia: The EU's Foreign Policy Power in the Ideologization of the Post-American World", and "The EU in International Relations: Values Before Power". His work emphasizes EU constitutional frameworks and evolving international power dynamics.

Prof. Ilic acts as an accredited doctoral mentor for the International Law and International Politics program. He coordinates international projects including ANETREC (focused on Western Balkans academic cooperation and post-conflict reconciliation) and serves as coordinator for "International Public Law" in postdoctoral studies on "New Technologies and Law" at Italy's University of Reggio Calabria. He holds editorial roles including Deputy Director of the international board for "The New Challenges of Law in the XXI Century" and collaborates with the Institute for Global Analytics in Sofia.
