Gopal Ramchurn

Professor Gopal Ramchurn is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southampton. He leads research in human-swarm interaction, explainable AI (XAI), and responsible AI governance. His work spans interdisciplinary projects funded by EPSRC, BAE Systems, and AXA SA, focusing on applications in healthcare, maritime systems, and autonomous technologies. He is a member of the Agents, Interaction and Complexity research group and contributes to initiatives like the National Edge AI Hub and the AI UK ecosystem.
