Gong Cheng

Gong Cheng is a Professor at the School of Computer Science, Nanjing University. His research focuses on big data search, knowledge graphs, and LLM inference with real-world applications in search engines, decision support systems, and question answering systems. He has published extensively in top-tier venues like WWW, SIGIR, and TKDE.

Research Interests:

• Big data search (dataset fusion, retrieval, ranking, summarization, recommendation)
• Graph search algorithms (efficient approximation algorithms for Group Steiner Tree problems)
• LLM inference optimization (task-specific enhancements, critical domain problem-solving)
• Knowledge-based RAG (multi-source heterogeneous knowledge retrieval for LLMs)
