Gokul Iyer is a Researcher and Fellow at the University of Maryland's Center for Global Sustainability, with a joint appointment at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Joint Global Change Research Institute. His research focuses on energy, land, and water systems modeling to explore decarbonization strategies, technology diffusion, and sustainable development. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Energy Systems Engineering from IIT Bombay, and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
