Godelinde Gertrude Perk

Godelinde Gertrude Perk is an Honorary Faculty Research Fellow at the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, University of Oxford, and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. Her academic journey includes a PhD in English Literature from Umeå University (2016) and a Senior Lecturer position at Mid Sweden University.

• Current Project: "Women Making Memories: Liturgy and the Remembering Female Body in Medieval Holy Women’s Texts" (2019–2021), funded by Horizon 2020.
• Research Focus: Medieval women's writing, cognitive approaches to literature, and the intersection of liturgy, memory, and gender.

Her work combines close-reading, historical contextualization, and interdisciplinary methods, including research-by-performance. She has presented at international conferences like the International Medieval Congress (2019), where she co-staged a play based on Middle Dutch Sister-Books.
