Gobind Gopalakrishna Pillai

Dr. Gobind Gopalakrishna Pillai is a Principal Lecturer (Learning & Teaching) at the Engineering Department of Teesside University, UK. His career spans industry experience in India and UAE, followed by academic roles focused on electrical power engineering, renewable energy integration, and smart grid technologies. He graduated with a First-class BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Kerala University, 2006), earned an MSc in Power Systems Engineering (Anna University, 2011) and an MBA in Operations Management (ICFAI University, 2011), and completed his PhD in Electrical Power Engineering at Northumbria University (2015) under an EPSRC-funded UK-India collaboration.
