Glennis Logsdon, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania and a Core Member of the Penn Epigenetics Institute. She leads the Logsdon Lab, focusing on centromere biology, human genome completion, and synthetic chromosome engineering. Her work has resolved centromeres, previously missing from the human genome, enabling studies on their genetic and epigenetic variation in health and disease.
