Glenn Ginn is an Associate Professor of Music at Morehead State University in the School of Music & Theatre, specializing in Guitar and Electric Bass instruction. His areas of focus include Jazz and Commercial Music, with a strong emphasis on performance skills for professional music careers and graduate education.

Ginn graduated from the renowned jazz studies program at the University of North Texas, where he studied under Fred Hamilton and Dan Haerle. Prior to joining Morehead State in 2005, he spent a decade as a Guitar and Jazz Studies Professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead, founding their Jazz and Studio Music Performance Program.
As an active performer and clinician, Ginn has collaborated with jazz luminaries like Clark Terry and Steve Smith. His discography includes three albums: I Know Who Holds Tomorrow (2009), Guitar Duets (2005), and Swing Street (2000). He resides in Morehead, Kentucky, with his family, and enjoys outdoor activities like biking and hiking.
