Glenda Pritchett is a Professor of English at Quinnipiac University’s College of Arts & Sciences, where she serves as Coordinator of the First-Year Writing Program and Editor of Double Helix: A Journal of Critical Thinking and Writing. She has held the Coordinator role since 2008 and oversees a team of 30 adjunct instructors.

Her research spans composition, Middle English language and literature, and medieval romances, alongside interdisciplinary interests in popular culture and Clint Eastwood films. She co-founded Double Helix in 2013 to advance writing pedagogy in higher education.
The First-Year Writing Program under her leadership includes the two-course sequence EN101: Introduction to Academic Reading and Writing and EN102: Academic Writing and Research. She also teaches EN241: Medieval Romances in Fall 2025, reflecting her scholarly focus on medieval literature.
