Glenda Halliday is a NHMRC Leadership Fellow and Professor at the University of Sydney, affiliated with the School of Medical Sciences and Brain and Mind Centre. Her research focuses on neurodegeneration, particularly Parkinson's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, and frontotemporal dementias. She has held prestigious roles, including President of the Australian Neuroscience Society and recipient of the Companion of the Order of Australia (2023). Her work bridges clinical, genetic, and pathological aspects of neurodegenerative diseases, emphasizing early diagnosis and therapeutic development. She supervises multiple PhD students exploring stem cell models, biomarkers, and disease mechanisms.
