Previously, he served as Professor of Psychology at the University of Calgary (2014–2018) and held various roles including Visiting Researcher at the University of Victoria (2011). His recent studies analyze neural mechanisms (e.g., fMRI) and EEG-based methods to understand memory processes. Over 70 publications span meta-analyses, experimental studies, and reviews, reflecting his engagement with both theoretical and applied psychology.
He is affiliated with Flinders University’s Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing, emphasizing translational research impacting mental health outcomes. His current projects seek student collaborators to advance understanding in memory and cognitive psychology.
