Gladis Kabil

Dr. Gladis Kabil is a Lecturer at Western Sydney University's School of Nursing & Midwifery with a strong clinical background as an emergency department nurse. She serves as a clinician researcher dedicated to improving sepsis care in emergency settings, leading translational research projects that bridge clinical practice and academic inquiry.

Her research interests focus on sepsis management, emergency department workflow, fluid resuscitation protocols, and the application of artificial intelligence in early sepsis detection. Dr. Kabil has developed expertise in mixed methods research, conducting both quantitative prospective/retrospective studies and qualitative explorations of clinical practice barriers.

Analysis of Dr. Kabil's recent publications (2019-2025) reveals a consistent research trajectory focused on sepsis care optimization. Her work spans multiple methodologies including systematic reviews, retrospective cohort studies, qualitative analyses, Delphi consensus methods, and AI tool evaluations.
