David McCutcheon

David McCutcheon is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia's (UWA) Medical School, specializing in Emergency Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and is affiliated with the UWA Medical School's Emergency Medicine department. His research focuses on emergency department protocols, drug intoxication management, sepsis resuscitation, and novel psychoactive substance detection. McCutcheon has contributed to 12 peer-reviewed articles and leads the Emerging Drugs Network of Australia (EDNA) project, funded by the NHMRC.
