Gjorgji Gockov is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He holds the Chair of Finance and has been actively involved in academic and professional activities since 2009. His research focuses on macroeconomics, finance, and monetary systems, with particular expertise in financial flows, macroeconomic accounts, and statistical frameworks.
He previously worked at the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (Research Department, 1999), Ministry of Finance (Head of Macroeconomic and Development Policy Sector, 2003), and the Department of Statistics (Head, 2004). He has participated in international committees such as the Irving Fisher Committee (BIS, 2006–2009) and the EUROSTAT Committee on Monetary, Balance of Payments, and Financial Statistics.
