Giuseppina Grande serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Languages and Cultures at Purdue University, specializing in Italian language instruction and cultural programming. She teaches beginning and intermediate Italian language sequences while co-organizing the Italian Coffee Hour and other curricular events to immerse students in authentic cultural experiences.
Her academic foundation includes an M.A. in Law from La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, followed by professional legal practice in Italy prior to transitioning to language education. After relocating to Buffalo, NY, she launched her teaching career at SUNY Buffalo before joining Purdue University.
Her professional focus centers on Italian language pedagogy and cultural transmission, with particular emphasis on creating experiential learning opportunities through events like the Italian Coffee Hour.
