Professor Verde's research centers on constitutional law, with particular emphasis on special statutes, judicial system reforms, and regional governance. His work analyzes the interplay between legislative decrees and constitutional frameworks, exploring topics such as resource allocation, judicial oversight, and autonomy debates. His recent publications reflect a consistent engagement with Italian constitutional dynamics and regional policy implementation.
The 15 most recent articles highlight trends in constitutional interpretation (e.g., legislative decrees implementing special statutes), judicial system reforms (e.g., CSM autonomy, NRRP justice implications), and regional policy challenges (e.g., Sicilian Special Statute, intergovernmental collaboration). These works span constitutional controls, judicial independence, and institutional dynamics, with a focus on Italy's legal and regional frameworks.
