Giuseppe R. Palmese serves as Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean at Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering, Rowan University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a B.S. from Princeton University.
His research focuses on sustainable engineering solutions including:
- Development of bio-based polymers and composites
- Advanced additive manufacturing techniques
- Green construction materials
- Recyclable thermoset systems
His recent publications demonstrate strong emphasis on renewable materials development and manufacturing optimization, with particular focus on furan-based polymers and additive manufacturing processes.
He leads research in the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Institute (AMMI) focusing on sustainable material development.
