Giuseppe Maruccio is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics "Ennio De Giorgi" at the University of Salento, where he is also the head of the Omnics Research Group. His research bridges physics, nanotechnology, and life sciences, focusing on spintronics, nanomagnetism, biosensors, and lab-on-a-chip systems.
