Giuseppe holds a PhD in History from Queen Mary University of London (2022), an MA and BA in Modern History from the University of Pisa, and a Postgraduate Degree from the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. His research seeks to rewrite dominant narratives of international law by foregrounding Southern European and semi-peripheral perspectives, uncovering alternative cosmopolitan visions and anti-imperial theories. He is particularly interested in the Enlightenment’s legacy in constitutionalism, rights, and equality, and co-edited The Legacy of the Enlightenment: Rights, Constitution, Equality (2025), a volume arising from a project funded by the Turin Humanities Program (Fondazione 1563).
His publications, while not listed here, would reflect interdisciplinary engagement with legal history, political thought, and Mediterranean studies, emphasizing historically grounded insights for contemporary international affairs.
