Giuseppe Avellone

Giuseppe Avellone serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Palermo, Italy, where he is affiliated with the School of Biological, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies (CHEM-07/B). Professor Avellone teaches Food Chemistry and related subjects across multiple academic programs including Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Agri-Food Science and Technology, Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace, Animal Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceutics, and Gastronomic Sciences. His teaching spans from undergraduate to graduate levels, with courses focusing on food composition, food technology, nutraceuticals, and specialized food chemistry topics.
