Giuseppe Anastasi

Giuseppe Anastasi is a Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Pisa's Department of Information Engineering. Born in Marsala (TP) in 1963, he graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1990 and earned his PhD in Electronic, Computer, and Telecommunications Engineering in 1995. His academic career spans roles as researcher (1992), associate professor (2001), and full professor (2011) in the ING-INF/05 sector. Currently serving as Digital Transition Officer and Executive Director of the CrossLabs for Industry 4.0, he has held leadership positions including Director of the Department of Information Engineering (2016-2020) and Director of the National Laboratory on Smart Cities & Communities at CINI (2015-2018).
