Dr. Giulia Zanini is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Queen Mary University of London, part of the Wellcome Trust-funded project 'Remaking the Human Body' led by Dr. Manuela Perrotta. She holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute (EUI), where her dissertation focused on transnational reproductive practices among Italian families seeking donor gametes/embryos abroad. Her work combines medical anthropology, gender studies, and public policy analysis, examining topics such as abortion access, cross-border healthcare, and the interplay of religion, family policies, and reproductive rights.
