Dr. Giselle Garcia is a Senior Lecturer in Dramaturgy and Performance Studies at the London College of Music, University of West London. Her research focuses on spatial dramaturgies, environmental performance, and Filipino theatre practices. She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Exeter on the AHRC-funded project Outside the Box: Open Air Performance as a Pandemic Response, collaborating with civic partners to develop innovative outdoor performance strategies.
Her research interests include:

- Autoethnographic methodologies in performance
- Post-pandemic cultural recovery
- Decolonizing theatre education
- Site-specific and outdoor performance
