Research Interests
Giovanni Ricco’s research lies at the intersection of empirical macroeconomics and public policy. He uses state-of-the-art econometric methods to study how fiscal and monetary policies propagate through economies characterised by imperfect information, heterogeneous agents and frictional markets. His work informs contemporary debates on optimal stabilisation policy, the effectiveness of unconventional monetary tools, and the cross-border spill-overs of domestic policies.
