Giovanni Distefano is a Full Professor at the University of Neuchâtel's Faculty of Law, specializing in Public International Law. He holds a doctorate in international relations with a specialization in international law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions including the University of Lausanne where he served as lecturer (2001-2004) and senior lecturer (2002-2005), and the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights where he has been a visiting professor since 2009.
