Giorgia Anna Parini is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Verona's Department of Legal Sciences. She specializes in family law, succession law, bioethics, and civil rights. Her research explores issues like genetic identity, surrogacy, animal welfare law, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. She holds leadership roles in academic governance, including membership in the Department Council, Teaching Boards, and various committees. She teaches modules across undergraduate and graduate programs in Law, Social Work, and Legal Services, focusing on family law, civil rights, and vulnerable populations' legal protection. Her research projects include EU comparative studies on family models and succession reforms, as well as bioethical dilemmas in assisted reproduction.
