Gina McGovern

Gina McGovern is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, College of Education. Her work bridges research and practice in youth development, focusing on adult leaders in out-of-school programs and their role in fostering social-emotional and ethnic-racial identity development among youth, particularly youth of color.
