Gillian McGregor is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography at Rhodes University. She serves as the Postgraduate Coordinator and the coordinator for the course GOG 302: Applied Spatial Technologies in Geography. Her role encompasses both teaching and research, with a focus on environmental and geographical sciences.

Research Interests:
Her primary research areas revolve around fluvial geomorphology, examining the impact of impoundments on river systems, and developing GIS-based methods for water resource management. Secondary Research:
Outside of her academic pursuits, she engages in rock climbing, diving, hiking, and underwater hockey as adjuncts to her field observations.
