Gillian Curran

Dr. Gillian Curran is a Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Accountancy and Economics, School of Business, South East Technological University (Waterford). She holds a PhD in Health Economics from University College Cork (UCC), a Master's in Economic Science from University College Dublin (UCD), and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from UCD. Her research focuses on health economics and economic evaluation, with recent publications centered on community-based health initiatives for men's health. She teaches modules in macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and quantitative techniques, and supervises postgraduate research. Prior to her current role, she lectured at UCC, worked with the Health Service Executive and Ryanair, and served as an External Examiner at Atlantic Technological University and Dublin Business School.
