Gideon Susman is a Lecturer at the USC School of Architecture, where he teaches Sustainability and Green Construction. He concurrently serves as Director of Energy and Sustainability at tk1sc-WSP, leading sustainable design projects globally. His work focuses on enabling low-carbon transitions through innovative building and city design, with expertise in net zero energy systems, LEED certification, and the Living Building Challenge. He has managed over $1.3M in research projects, including his doctoral work on phase change materials that produced an award-winning cooling system (NewMass).
