Gianluca Del Noce

Gianluca Del Noce is a Researcher affiliated with the University of Rouen Normandy's UFR Letters and Human Sciences, a member of the ERIAC research unit (UR 4705). He holds a dual doctorate in Classical Letters (University of Rouen) and a Dottore di Ricerca in Filologia Classica (University of Salerno, 2012). His work focuses on Medieval and Renaissance Latin philology, classical tradition, and textual criticism. He has contributed to peer-reviewed journals like Studi Rinascimentali and presented at international conferences, including SEMEN-L and the Renaissance Society of America. His studies emphasize the Feretrana of Giovambattista Cantalicio, examining how humanist authors reinterpreted classical traditions within their socio-political contexts. He also engages with paleography, codicology, and the digital preservation of ancient texts.
