معرفی
Giacomo Canevari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Verona, specializing in Mathematical Analysis with a focus on Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and Calculus of Variations. His research explores variational principles in physics, including models for superconductivity, Bose-Einstein condensation, and liquid crystals, often intersecting with minimal surfaces and geometric measure theory.
He teaches courses like Dynamical Systems, Mathematical Analysis, and Linear Algebra to undergraduate and graduate students in Applied Mathematics and Bioinformatics. Office hours are held every Thursday from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM, or by appointment, at Ca' Vignal 2, Room 2.17.
Canevari is actively involved in departmental governance, serving on committees such as the Faculty Board of Interuniversity PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science Teaching Committee, and Mathematics and Data Science Teaching Committee. His work bridges theoretical mathematics with applications in materials science.
