Dr. Ghassan Nounu is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader at the University of the West of England, affiliated with the College of Arts, Technology and Environment. He holds a PhD and BSc (Hons) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Research Interests:
- Sustainable Construction Materials
- Reinforced Concrete Repairs
- Finite Element Analysis
- Non-Destructive Testing of Concrete
- Structural Analysis and Design
Key Publications: His recent work includes 3D-printed graphene-enhanced geopolymer concrete, meta-analyses of cement replacement materials, and lightweight concrete development using industrial byproducts. Earlier studies explored additive manufacturing, bamboo reinforcement, and recycled glass applications in concrete.
