Ghassan Guorgis is a researcher at Linköping University affiliated with the Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences (HMV) and the Division of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Community Medicine (PRNV). He holds a Medical Doctor degree (2004), a Specialist in General Medicine qualification (2015), and completed his PhD in 2024. His primary research focuses on skin cancer prevention and diagnosis in primary care, particularly exploring the long-term effects of sun protection strategies and the role of actinic keratosis in skin cancer development.
