Gevorg Sargsyan Simonyan

Gevorg Sargsyan Simonyan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry at Yerevan State University (YSU). He specializes in ecological chemistry, reaction kinetics, and mathematical modeling.

• Education: Certified Specialist from YSU (1981), Candidate of Sciences (Chemical Sciences) from Institute of Chemical Physics (1988), Professor (YSU, 2006)

Research Interests: Focus on aquatic environmental chemistry, polymerization kinetics, and environmental risk assessment using fractal analysis and geo-ecological modeling.

• Recent work includes studies on heavy metals in ecosystems, river self-purification, acid mining drainage neutralization, and noise pollution impact on arboretums.

Scientific Awards: Recognized as Professor of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (2013), Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (2014), and Member of the International United Academy of Sciences (2018).
