Gertraud Stadler

Prof. Dr. Gertraud Stadler holds the professorship for gender-sensitive prevention research at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, one of Europe's leading academic medical centers. She serves as a Professor in the Department of Gender-Sensitive Prevention Research within the School of Medicine.

Dr. Stadler's research focuses on personalized prevention interventions and exploring how individuals and couples can modify everyday behaviors to maintain lifelong health and better manage illness. Her work is characterized by extensive interdisciplinary collaboration across medicine, nutritional sciences, nursing sciences, sports sciences, statistics, and technology. She investigates how behavioral change can be facilitated through tailored interventions considering individual circumstances and social contexts.

Dr. Stadler is actively engaged in the application of artificial intelligence to health research, with a scheduled presentation at the AI and Health session on May 30, 2024, focusing on applying AI to model and understand multimorbidity (the co-occurrence of multiple chronic or acute conditions).
