Gert Tinggaard Svendsen is a Professor at the Department of Political Science at Aarhus University. His primary research focuses on trust, social capital, climate policy, welfare state dynamics, lobbying, and collective action problems. He has collaborated internationally, notably with Harvard University's Robert D. Putnam on historical roots of trust in Denmark.
