Her work analyzes case studies from Germany, Russia, and Bulgaria to assess how accountability processes evolve in the media age. She has contributed to debates on judicialization, presidentialization, and deparlamentarization of accountability, as well as public fragmentation's impact on democratic demand.

- Publications: Over 10 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including analyses of the 2014 Crimean annexation, U.S. political scandals, and anti-corruption protests in Romania.
Her research methodology emphasizes a 'supply and demand' framework for accountability, challenging traditional electoral paradigms. She has presented her work at institutions like the LSE and Central European University, focusing on democracy's transformation and crisis through accountability lenses.
