Geremy Carnes is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Lindenwood University's College of Arts and Humanities. His research explores the 18th-century English Catholic community's literary contributions and their influence on Gothic fiction, British imperial literature, and intersections of religion, nation, and empire. He has also contributed to Digital Humanities pedagogy through a NEH grant-funded network initiative.
