Gerard (Gerry) George is the Tamsen & Michael Brown Family Chair Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a Senior Global Fellow at The Lauder Institute. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at Singapore Management University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business. With over 25 years of academic leadership, he has held roles including Dean at Singapore Management University, Deputy Dean at Imperial College Business School, and Editor of the Academy of Management Journal.
His research focuses on innovation ecosystems, sustainable entrepreneurship, and inclusive innovation in sectors like healthcare and energy. Notable contributions include co-authoring influential books such as Handbook on the Business of Sustainability and Implausible Opportunities, and pioneering initiatives like the Gandhi Centre at Imperial College.
