Gerald M. Easter is a Professor and Department Chairperson in the Department of Political Science at Boston College, part of the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Russian politics, Eastern Europe, modern state dynamics, ethnonationalism, and post-communist transitions. He holds a B.A. from Boston College and M.A./Ph.D. from Columbia University.
