Gerald Fallon is an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), affiliated with the Department of Educational Studies within the Faculty of Education, and an Associate of the School of Public Policy and Global Development. His work focuses on education policy, public finance mechanisms, First Nations education, and sustainability in curriculum design.
His research critically examines neoliberal influences on education systems, particularly in Canada, addressing issues such as privatization trends, funding inequities, and the governance of public education. Fallon also explores community-based learning models, Indigenous education policy, and the intersection of global development frameworks with local educational practices.
