Georgios Stavroulakis

Georgios Stavroulakis is a Professor at the Department of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete (since 2005). He holds a Dipl. Civil Engineer (1985) and PhD (1991) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Technische Universität Braunschweig (2000) and Associate Professor at University of Ioannina (2001–2005). His research focuses on Computational Mechanics, Non-Smooth Mechanics, and Optimization, with applications in structural dynamics, smart materials, and biomedical engineering.
