Georgios Nikolaou is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Veterinary Pathology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nicosia. He holds a DrMedVet in Veterinary Science from Szent István University and an MSc in Animal Pathology from Utrecht University.

His research focuses on the pathogenesis and immunology of bacterial/viral infections in farm animals, diagnosis/prognosis of neoplasms in companion animals, and histopathology of laboratory animals in clinical/preclinical studies. He is currently qualifying as a diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Pathology.
