Georgios Kitsaras is a Lecturer in Behavioural Science at the Division of Dentistry, The University of Manchester. A Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), he specializes in applying psychological principles to dental health contexts, particularly focusing on behavior change for health and oral health, digital health interventions, and child wellbeing.

He co-founded the international BeCinD Network (Behaviour Change in Dentistry) and chairs the BEHSR group of the British Society of Dental Research.
Recent publications examine gamification in oral health, connected brushing technologies, and dental crisis prevention strategies. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education and public health.

As a consultant for Colgate-Palmolive, BBC, and NHS Education Scotland, he contributes to behavior change frameworks in oral health. He oversees international dental volunteering projects like Dental Team Gulu in Northern Uganda.
